Germany – always worth a visit!

Based in Frankfurt am Main, the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has been showcasing Destination Germany on the global market for 60 years, through a broad range of events and campaigns. These have included international tourism fairs, workshops and PR events.

Deutschlands beste IT-Nachwuchsingenieurin, Anja Bog (25) aus Sachsen-Anhalt, ist am Freitag (23.03.2007) im Hasso-Plattner-Institut  in Potsdam auf dem Weg zur Auszeichnung. Sie schloss ihr Master-Studium im Fach "IT-Systems Engineering" mit der Traumnote 1,1 ab. Insgesamt  77 IT-Absolventen, 26 mit dem Master- und 51 mit dem Bachelor-Abschluss, des Hasso-Plattner-Instituts haben ihre Prüfungen überstanden. Education at a Glance 2017

On September 12, 2017, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released the publication ‘Education at a Glance 2017’. The most important message with regard to Germany is that the share of recent tertiary graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields is 37%, and hence the highest of all OECD and partner countries, reflecting Germany’s strong technological focus.

Starting 1st September 2017: All consular services including visa to be concentrated at the Consulate General in Dubai

Due to a restructuring of their consular services, the administrative and consular districts of the German Foreign Missions in the United Arab Emirates will change from 1st September 2017. This means that the consular jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Dubai will be extended to the whole territory of the UAE, including the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
